This is the chinese pallanoph from that picture.
I love the creatures has designed! They are original, interesting and awesome! And I just couldn't resist drawing one 
I think I did a pretty good job, it's gotta be the best sketch I've done so far 
I altered the picture very mildly in GIMP, only to make the lines a bit darker. Used 0.5mm mechanical pencil on regular printer paper.
